Vysočina aréna
This most important ski resort in the Vysočina region has a more than one hundred-year tradition of skiing. Since 1934, the Golden Ski of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands competition has been held here every year, which has almost regularly become part of the World Cup in cross-country skiing since the early 1980s. In addition to the standard ski trails for competitors in the Ochoza forest near the Ski area, tourist ski trails and single trails are also maintained in the northern vicinity of the city.

Horácké muzeum Vysočiny v NMNM
The museum is dedicated to showcasing folk culture in the northern Horácko region, glassmaking, ironwork, the history of the city and skiing. The largest number of exhibits in the museum is dedicated to skiing and its history in Nové Město. During the summer season, visitors can get to the Haunted Underground, which is dedicated to legends from the Nové Město region, and to the courtyard, where perhaps the most attractive exhibit is located, the so-called "Mlejnek z Víru".
